For the Start page with calendar Chrome extension · Effective 18 August 2026

Start page with calendar is developed by Serhii Popov (uazure+chrome-start-page@gmail.com). The extension replaces Chrome's new tab page with your upcoming Google Calendar meetings and your bookmarked links. It is built on one principle: your data stays in your browser. The developer operates no server, and no data of yours is ever transmitted to the developer or to any third party.

What the extension accesses

Where your data goes

The only network requests the extension makes are direct, encrypted requests from your browser to Google's Calendar API (www.googleapis.com), authorized with your own token, to fetch your calendar list and events. There are no other endpoints. The extension contains no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising code, and no error reporting to any external service. Nothing is collected.

What the developer never does with your data

Google API Services disclosure

Start page with calendar's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data retention and deletion

Everything the extension stores lives inside your Chrome profile. Uninstalling the extension removes its settings, notes, and cached events (bookmarks remain yours, in Chrome, as ordinary bookmarks). You can revoke the extension's access to your Google Calendar at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
